Posting your game to the showcase
SHOWCASE POST FORMAT
Showcase threads tagged “Publish to site” are exported to this site. Without that tag, your post stays in Discord. If you do opt in, follow the format below so your game card renders correctly. Break it and your card shows up cropped, clipped, or missing an image entirely.
1. Thread title = game name
The thread title becomes your card’s name on the site, shown in uppercase.
- Game name only. Max 4 words. Max 24 characters.
- No taglines, no “looking for feedback”, no version numbers, no formatting characters. Use the forum tags for status instead.
- Titles longer than two rows are cut off with “…” on the site.

2. Screenshot in the first message
The first image attached to your first message becomes your card art.
- Attach it to the first message. Editing the post to add one later works too, or reply with an image yourself and the site picks it up.
- Landscape, 4:3 ratio ideal. Recommended 1600 x 1200. Minimum 800 wide.
- The site crops to 4:3 from the center, so keep the important part of the shot central. Ultrawide screenshots lose their edges.
- Formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP, or GIF (animation is preserved, so a short gameplay GIF is a great choice). Keep it under 10 MB.
3. Description = your first paragraph
The site takes the first 280 characters of your post as the card description. Make the first paragraph carry it:
- What the game is: genre plus the hook.
- Where it stands: engine, playable or not, how long a session runs.
- What feedback you want.
25 to 45 words, three sentences. Links go after the first paragraph, on their own lines: a store URL as your opening line becomes your card description on the site, and nobody wants to read a URL.
What happens automatically
- Posts tagged “Publish to site” with a screenshot and a clean title appear on the site showcase.
- The newest four games with screenshots get the homepage feature slots.
- Useful feedback belongs in the thread so the builder can test it against the next build.
- No screenshot after 10 minutes gets one polite reminder from the bot, ever.
