Craft over tool tribalism
The game matters more than which model, engine, or workflow produced it.
AIGAMEDEV is the public front door and reference library for a Discord community of over a thousand people making games with AI somewhere in their pipeline. For the love of game development.
The game matters more than which model, engine, or workflow produced it.
Where rules, rights or terms matter, show the evidence and its checked date.
Community work stays in the community unless its creator chooses otherwise.
Nobody here cares which tools you used. Members build with frontier models, open weights, and no AI at all in places, across every engine and genre. What the community does care about is honesty and craft: if part of your work came from a model or someone else's repo, you say so, and what gets judged is whether the game is any good.
The other thing that holds the place together is feedback that runs both ways. Members post their work, get real critique, and give it back. The showcase grows from that exchange, but feedback is not publicly ranked or turned into a status competition. Access to tools was never the hard part of making games. Finishing them is, and finishing goes faster with a room full of people who will tell you the truth about your build.
It keeps the community's reference material somewhere linkable, so guides on tools, terms, and asset provenance don't vanish into scrollback. It lets you evaluate the community before joining it, because a Discord invite tells you nothing about what's inside. And it gives opted-in member work a place to be seen outside the server.
It is not a forum, a second community, or a login-gated product.
